Young people no longer have a true sense of identity in local congregations and are increasingly finding the church irrelevant to the teachings of Jesus Christ. Ministry models over the last few decades have taken ownership of youth programs away from young people and now provide ministry to youth instead of producing youth in ministry.
Foster care children move from home to home throughout their lifetime, eventually aging out of the system with no financial, emotional, or physical support. Over 500,000 youth are in the foster care system nationwide. About 20,000 of those youth age out each year, entering a world without the skills and resources to successfully live independently.
Every revolutionary change in the world begins with just one person. You could be a revolutionary. The Ethical Revolution is about making decisions that create positive change in your life from the inside out. Where do you want to experience a revolution in your life? In a relationship? In your home? In your school? In your church? You can live a revolutionary life. But it starts inside. Who you are has the potential to ignite a positive revolution. Be a revolution!
ONE is a new effort by Americans to rally Americans--one by one--to fight the emergency of global AIDS and extreme poverty. ONE is students and ministers, punk rockers and NASCAR moms, Americans of all beliefs and every walk of life, united as ONE to help make poverty history.
According to recent statistics, 70-85% of Christian youth abandon their faith during the transition from high school to college. YTN is working to connect young people to support on college campuses where they can live above the pressures of their new environment and stay strong in their faith to impact their world.
